The owners of R & R formed this company with the idea of developing baits that will help all fishermen — regardless of skill level — catch fish. We are constantly striving to create baits that are different than the mass produced baits currently available to most fisherman.
Our philosophy is to create baits that any Professional Tournament Fisherman would love to use so they have an edge yet are readily available to the weekend warriors, like ourselves. We can and do incorporate unique characteristics in our soft plastic baits that you can not find in any mass produced baits—period. We have formulated our baits to float, as this presents our baits in a more life-like way.
All of our baits are tested and have proven to catch fish under various fishing conditions. As with any bait, you need to use our baits according to the time of year, current fishing conditions, fishing pressure and water clarity.
Just like you, we want to catch fish every time we have a chance to go, whether it's a big fish, a limit in the tournament, or just plain catch more than our buddy, father, son, daughter, wife, girlfriend, and so on.
On a final note, if you have a color that is no longer in production and we have a product that fits the style you like, we will gladly produce the color for you. There is a minimum order; however, being a small company, we are very flexible. Please ask your local tackle dealer for details.
We sincerely appreciate your purchase and support of our products. We want you to know that a lot of thought, testing and hard work goes into producing each of our baits. We are currently testing several new baits that will be available in the near future and we will keep your tackle dealer posted!

Robert L. Vest
Chesterfield, Virginia
Robert is an entrepreneur with three successful ventures under his belt. With R&R Custom Baits, he has enjoyed seeing what baits, colors, and ideas he believes will work, come to life.
Robert started pond fishing at age eight, tournament fishing at age sixteen, and has fished numerous local circuits, including both BASS and FLW Federations. He has qualified for many Six-Man Teams, and had several notable years in the Lake Chesdin Mini-Series. He can describe techniques in a way that any fisherman can understand. He especially enjoys sharing his knowledge with young fishermen, as he still remembers how inquisitive he was, and can tell stories that make their eyes really light up.
Robert is married and has one son, who can cast a pretty mean line himself.
